In this place it feels like entering the middle of the world, because the Serranía de La Macarena is the meeting point of three very powerful ecosystems: the Amazon, the Orinoquía and the Andes.

    “Caño Cristales is a unique place in Colombia that has the presence of the Macarenia Clavigera, a plant that gives the river shades of five and sometimes seven colors. Although Tolú and Coveñas seem like Siamese beaches, each of them offers specific attractions. In Coveñas you can visit the oil terminal where the oil pipeline that starts from Caño Limón, in Arauca, and crosses the country from east to west ends. In Tolú you can explore the beaches on walks or by pedicab, the latter allows you to contemplate the beautiful sunsets along the Avenida del Malecón.
