SATENA, the airline of Colombians, reinforces its commitment to regional connectivity with the opening of two new routes: Medellín-Ocaña and Cúcuta-Ocaña. Starting March 21, these routes will operate with three weekly frequencies, providing a safe, efficient, and accessible air transport option to strengthen mobility in the northeast of the country.

"The opening of these routes reaffirms our commitment to local development. We expand air access to strategic areas, offering alternatives that optimize travel times and improve the mobility of travelers," said Major General Óscar Zuluaga Castaño, president of SATENA. He also stressed that "strengthening the connection between different territories not only benefits its inhabitants but also boosts the economy, fosters trade and promotes integration with the rest of the country."

Flights will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with the following schedules:

Medellín - Ocaña: 07:30 a. m

Ocaña - Cúcuta: 09:00 a. m

Cúcuta - Ocaña: 10:00 a. m

Ocaña - Medellín: 11:00 a. m

These routes will be operated with B-1900 aircraft, with a capacity of 19 passengers, guaranteeing an agile and efficient service. The implementation of these flights responds to the need to improve air connectivity in key areas, facilitating access to development, investment, and tourism opportunities. In addition, it will boost the economy of Ocaña and its surroundings, strengthening strategic sectors and promoting the growth of trade and tourism.

With this initiative, SATENA consolidates its role as the airline that integrates remote regions with the rest of the country, contributing to territorial development and offering more efficient transport solutions.
