SATENA schedules special operation between Bogotá and Valledupar for the Vallenato Legend Festival

On the occasion of the celebration of the Vallenato Legend Festival, one of the most representative cultural events in the country, SATENA, the airline of Colombians, announced a special flight schedule on the Bogotá–Valledupar–Bogotá route, with the objective of facilitating the travel of passengers to the capital of Cesar during the days of highest mobilization.

"Every year, the Vallenato Legend Festival convenes thousands of people who arrive in Valledupar to celebrate a tradition deeply linked to the cultural identity of the Colombian Caribbean. From SATENA, we accompany this movement by reinforcing our air operation to facilitate access to the city during one of the seasons of highest demand," stated Major General Óscar Zuluaga Castaño, president of SATENA.

The schedule includes ten additional flights, distributed across five round-trip frequencies that will operate on April 29 and 30, as well as May 1, 3, and 4, dates on which the highest flow of visitors to the city is historically recorded. These operations will be carried out in Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft, with a capacity for 50 passengers, which will allow for the expansion of seat availability during the central days of the festival.
