Starting from June 24, SATENA will connect Bogotá with Tolú

With the aim of continuing to encourage the economic and tourism reactivation in Colombia, SATENA makes the Bogotá-Tolú-Bogotá route available to travelers, starting from June 24. After the pandemic,
the "Colombian airline" announces an expansion plan with new frequencies and Tolú is the first destination within this tourist offer.
Tolú is a destination desired by nationals and foreigners, since it has white sand beaches and calm water, which are perfect for resting. In the tourists’ opinion, the heat and the sea breeze adorn majestic landscapes dyed with vegetation which make their way and seek refuge on dry land, thus creating the most beautiful landscapes that nature can offer.
According to Major General Luis Carlos Córdoba, president of SATENA, this town located in the Gulf of Morrosquillo offers a commercial environment, which is complemented by another of the municipalities called Coveñas, an ideal place to rest and relax. “For this reason, we have decided to open this new route, that will not only connect Bogotá with the department of Sucre, but also with the territory of Córdoba, because we want to bring development to the regions and facilitate the connectivity of the people who live in that area of the country and of tourists who want to choose this great alternative”.
This new route, which will be available to travelers from June 24, is scheduled for Mondays and Fridays. The Bogotá - Tolú flight will be at 07:40 a.m., while the Tolú - Bogotá itinerary will be at 10:06 a.m. Finally, it is important to point out that in Tolú you can explore the beaches on foot or by pedicab, allowing you to contemplate the beautiful sunsets along the Avenida del Malecón. Likewise, a highly recommended plan is to visit the nearby islands, enter the waters of the Gulf of Morrosquillo and go by boat through the labyrinths formed by the mangroves of the swamp.
