SATENA Hiring Manual

  • Complying with the legal regime of SATENA (private law according to Law 1427 2010) and facing the need to acquire goods, works and services in an agile way and efficient to facilitate compliance with the airline's corporate purpose, the Manual Contracting establishes the particular rules applicable to its contractual management, defining the principles, modalities, procedures, stages and other conditions general aspects of said management, in such a way that the needs of the airline for its normal operation and operation in development of its object when it acts as a contracting party, seeking to welcome the more favorable offers, seeking to take advantage of resources and, in general, protecting the rights of SATENA, the contractor and third parties that intervene.

    The foregoing, taking into account its status as a State Entity with a special regime of hiring and respecting, in any case, the principles of the administrative function and fiscal management defined in articles 209 and 267 of the Political Constitution, respectively, as well as the regime of disabilities and incompatibilities provided legally for state contracting (Article 13, Law 1150 of 2003).

  • The open contracting modality will apply as a general rule to any process, unless it is framed within the causes of direct contracting. In turn, open contracting has the following modalities:

    a) Invitation to quote IC

    b) Open Selection SA

    c) LI Tender or Contest

    d) Acquisition of consumables and / or services for the repair and maintenance of aircraft.

    Similarly, direct contracting contemplates the minimum amount modality.

Requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System:
Establish the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System that must be met by contractors and their SATENA subcontractors.
SATENA establishes basic standards that determine the criteria related to compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and the Environment for the subscription and execution of contracts with natural persons and / or legal persons that provide services or supply goods to SATENA

The established provisions will be mandatory in the contractual activity until the end of the service provision. See SISOMA
