The SERVICIO AÉREO A TERRITORIOS NACIONALES S.A. - SATENA, being a Mixed Economy Company by Shares of the National order, of anonymous character, linked to the Ministry of National Defense, legal nature that was authorized by Law 1427 of 2010, constituted by public deed No. 1427 of May 9, 2011, of the Notary 64 of Bogotá, and registered under the number 01486354 of book IX of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, whose corporate purpose is to provide air service for passengers, mail and cargo.

Likewise, its main corporate purpose is to provide air transportation services and develop the policy and general plans adopted by the National Government regarding air transportation for the less developed regions of the country, contributing to the development and integration in social, cultural and economic aspects, as well as linking remote regions of the country to the economy and national life.

SATENA is the only state airline that has the obligation to be present in those regions where, due to geographic, public order and poverty issues, no other operator reaches, and it is precisely here where the State is reflected in the development and fulfillment of its goals and objectives, it fulfills a task of vital importance in the generation of economic and social development of the regions served, integrating them with the main economic centers of the country.

In this sense, the Entity's Regulations correspond to the subscription of internal documents such as Policies, Presidential Orders, Manuals, Procedures, Instructions and e-mails to manage the Airline; information that is part of the quality management system published in SATENA's intranet.
